Characteristics of work. Installation, dismantling, adjustment, testing, maintenance of complex control systems of electric drives, electrical machines, devices, automatic installations, telemechanics. Adjustment and testing of automatic electronic units of thyristor excitation, electronic and telemechanical equipment systems, sensors, asynchronous-synchronized adjustable electric drive; maintenance and repair of circuit diagrams and devices using microprocessor technology. Testing the operation and interaction of all control, automation and protection elements, their repair and adjustment. Oscillography and analysis of transient processes in electrical circuits of drives. Assembly and testing of circuits based on semiconductor elements and microcircuits. Installation and adjustment of equipment using microcircuits and logic elements. Adjustment and testing of instrumentation in automated drive systems. Taking equipment characteristics, maintaining technical documentation, filling out forms.

Must know: installation of devices based on semiconductor technology, electronic and telemechanical equipment of the equipment being serviced; design features of complex systems of units and components of self-propelled mining machines; principle of operation, type of microcircuits and electronic assembly devices; the principle of establishing operating modes of complex control systems; electrical engineering, telemechanics, rules for taking oscillograms to the extent necessary for work; installation of serviced high-precision electronic measuring instruments.
