I am Jane Brown. I’m 12. I’d like to tell you about my family. I’ve got a mother, a father, an elder brother and a younger sister. My grandma and granddad don't live with us. They live in another city. My grandparents are very kind and we love them very much.

My mother's name is Mary Brown. She is 35. She is a beautiful slim woman. She likes cooking very much. Her cakes are so tasty!

My father's name is Paul Brown. He is 1 year older than our mother. My dad is a strong handsome man. He enjoys repairing his car.

My sister Susan is 4 years younger than me. She is a pretty and smart girl. Susan likes walking with our dog in the park not far from our house. And she also often plays with her dolls.

My elder brother John is a tall boy of 14. He is clever and sociable. His hobbies are playing computer games and football.

As for me, I prefer reading books when I have free time. On Sundays I go shopping with my mum. I enjoy shopping.

Our family is friendly. We always help each other. And we love each other too.

Thank you for your work today. It was fantastic!

Now the lesson is over, good-bye!

The presentation was created to summarize material on the topic in English lessons in primary school. It systematizes the material studied, develops spelling skills, the ability to construct sentences, fosters love for loved ones and the desire to have family traditions. The work can be demonstrated to classes in any program.

The presentation is made up of twelve slides. The arrangement of the slides corresponds to the plan:

Poem about family in English.
-Playing with words.
-Control of grammatical skills.
-Culturological information.

The development corresponds to the age characteristics of younger schoolchildren; it implies a frequent change of activities in the lesson. Reading and memorizing a poem, making words from letters, filling in gaps in a sentence, getting to know the coats of arms of famous Russian families. The information is easy to perceive and remember. The tasks are highlighted in color, the text is in large font, and there are lists. The regional aspect is reflected in the slides with an English poem and images of the family coats of arms of the Russian aristocracy. The work attracts children's attention with its design style and thematic photographs.
